BRISK Tabor is adjusting its products portfolio to dynamic changes in the construction of spark-ignition engines. It is utilizing its large development potential for enlargement of current product lines of spark plugs and introduces entirely new product lines optimizing technical parameters of spark plugs towards new requirements, which results from engine innovations driven by the need of fulfillment of strict emission norms of next decades.
Engine downsizing, injection of the fuel directly to the combustion chamber, combustion gas reverse routing, stop-start systems, cylinders disconnections and extension of service intervals are all together bringing new requirements on functional parameters of new spark plugs. New spark plugs are constructed in such way they withstand higher pressures in the combustion chamber and other aspects while keeping the normalized dimensions. Concrete example is enlargement of BRISK Iridium Premium+ product line for two new types P21 and P22, primarily dedicated for the aftermarket of the VW TSI and TFSI engines.

On the occasion of 80th anniversary of production of spark plugs, BRISK Tabor a.s. (the Check Republic) introduces a unique spark plug, which is an evolutionary peak of continuous search of an ideal plug for explosion engines.
BRISK PREMIUM EVO spark plugs allow complex satisfying of requirements of flash-over cleaning of surface of the insulator top, even if the insulator top did not reach the temperature of self-cleaning. The greatest effect is spark, which occurs between the centre and auxiliary electrode on the top of insulator, applied using modern laser technology around the insulator, and then the spark goes further to six electrodes. The next advantage is that the auxiliary electrode slows down the electrode consumption.
